Well we’re riding down to Chini Town
And they’re chopping all the greenery down
Back in Bubugao they’re wasting time
Straight from the dorms, standing in line

Well we used to always shop at that store
But we found we spent a little bit more
So we rode down to the market square
Asked for some fruit, prices were fair

And we’re living near to Chini Town
But it takes some time for us to go down
Still it’s getting hard to stay away

We’ll were shopping here in Chini Town
For the peanut butter we never found
For the fireworks and toys we crave
Pirated software
Stuff we can save

So they built a lane-dividing wall
But it never really helped us at all
No the traffic laws have never been real
Tractors and cars drive how they feel

And we’re waiting here in Chini Town
For the Huadu bus that’s s’posed to come round
But I think it just pulled away

Every teacher had a pretty good shot
To get at least as far as tricycles got
If something happened on the way to that place
They threw a fit and everybody lost face

And it’s hard when all your water’s brown
So I won’t be washing clothes today
