Nice! I really enjoyed this, and the piano was great (arrangement and performance). BTW, can you share the meaning of the hanzi in your album logo with the negation sign or is it a secret sign only Chinese speakers and learners are privy to?
The word in the logo means “thing” but the characters separately are 东 (dōng) meaning “east” and 西 (xī) meaning “west.” It’s bizarre that “thing” in Chinese is the same as “east west.”
Since my first Chinese pop song (written with Jason Kiger) is called “I’m nothing” (wǒ bú shì dōngxi), I made the logo to be “no dōngxi” (“no thing”).
It also has the implied (but missed) double meaning of “no distinction between East and West” since here we have a foreigner (from the West) singing these original songs in Chinese (from the East).
All that to say, I needed a cover image and I’m no artist, so I whipped one up on MS Word in about 2 minutes
